As Nuventura continues to mature and expand its operations, we have recognised the importance of formally dedicating ourselves to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.
Since 2021, Nuventura has been diligently working on ESG initiatives, laying the groundwork to embed sustainable practices across the organisation. In 2023, we further solidified this commitment by establishing a dedicated ESG function, ensuring that these values are deeply integrated into our operational and strategic decisions.
The ESG Function sits within the Legal and Compliance Department of Business Operations under the guidance of Tanja Glowka, Nuventura’s CBO.
Cassidy Kuiper leads Nuventura’s ESG strategy and sustainability initiatives with a
dedicated roadmap and budget, bringing over five years of Corporate ESG and Sustainability experience, including time in the mining industry. Cassidy holds a Master’s in Environmental Sciences and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Health Sciences, providing her with a comprehensive background to champion responsible business practices.
Her focus is on driving responsible and ethical business practices that minimize negative impacts while enhancing positive contributions to both the environment and society.
As a passionate change agent, she believes that empowering employees with sustainability knowledge enables them to integrate these practices into their daily lives which drives real, long-lasting impact.
Her vision is to ensure that sustainability feels like a shared mission - something we all understand and engage with, rather than a distant goal.

Insights from Cassidy: Driving ESG success at Nuventura
"Our biggest opportunity is to embed sustainability into our culture. When sustainability becomes a natural part of our work and daily choices, it drives lasting impact, within our company and beyond."
Challenge:
"Often, sustainability is seen as an added task rather than an integral part of our operations. My goal is to make sustainability approachable and collaborative—something everyone sees as part of our everyday workflow."
Opportunity:
"Our greatest opportunity lies in inspiring a shift in mindset. By creating a culture where sustainability is valued, we empower employees to make sustainable choices, both at work and in their personal lives. When businesses foster this kind of knowledge transfer, it contributes to global sustainable development in a real, meaningful way."
This is just the beginning. The next phase we will highlight our approach to driving positive environmental and social impact while reinforcing governance practices that ensure long-term value creation.
Stay connected with us as we continue to build a sustainable future.
